Sheffield Wednesday fans are up in arms after their squad numbers for the upcoming campaign were revealed.
Former Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher, who joined the club on a free transfer, has been handed the coveted No.6 shirt, while the club’s back-up goalkeeper, Joe Wildsmith, has taken the No.2 shirt.
Atdhe Nuhiu has gone from No.9 to No.44, while Sam Hutchinson has given up No.4 to take No.23

@swfc Nuhiu was 9 now 44. Take the hint Atdhe. Haha, may as well tell him to go on a year's gardening leave.
